The cons being fewer people look at your blog, people don't know when I update my blog, people would easily forget about my blog and leave fewer comments, acquaintances who look at my blog might be too afraid to ask for an invitation and old friends wouldn't be able to find my blog.
The pros - Some nasty child molester would have a harder time finding pictures of my boys and it's just all-around more secure (I can worry a *little* bit less about letting something slip). So, in the end I've decided the pros outweigh the cons especially given the fact that I'm an over-sharer (Ben always reminds me about that when he reads my blog).
Ben went ahead and copied the entire blog into a new blog and we're going to leave this one around and delete everything but this post. Be sure to send me an email for an invite, even if you're a friend of a friend or an acquaintance. Ben is going to put something at the end here that you can click the link and see my email address (something about crawlers or something).
